How Memory Book works
- It listens. Your voice memo is transcribed and read alongside your typed notes.
- It looks. If you add a photo, the speech and the illustration echo what's actually in it.
- It writes. Roughly 60 seconds out loud — about 150 words — in the tone you picked.
- It reads it aloud. A free Kokoro voice narrates the finished text.
- It packages it. A drawn illustration plus a printable PDF you can hold on the day.
Will it make things up?
No. It only uses the names, memories and details you give it in the notes, the memo and the photo. Thin notes make a shorter speech, not an invented one.
What if the tone comes out wrong?
Change the tone or add a line to your notes and run it again. Your typed words stay in the boxes, and the previous speech stays on screen until the new one is ready.
Do I have to record anything?
No. The photo and voice memo are both optional — typed notes alone are enough.
Which voices cost credits?
The four Kokoro voices — Emma, Heart, George and Michael — are free. Only “Premium voice” uses credits.
